I took a trip to Chitrakot between October 2nd and October 5th 2008. Took a train from Hyderabad to Vizag and from Vizag to Jagdalpur. Was intense travelling for almost 24 hours in the train. The waterfalls were worth all the trouble. Will update more about the trip.

Happy New Year to you! I can’t believe you actually read my blog 
2008 was the year of travel for me. Roughly 26 weekends outside Hyderabad city limits!
I want it to be 40+ weekends this year. I don’t think it will be difficult
This map shows the places I travelled to in 2008.
In 2009 most of the public holidays are on Fridays, ideal for travel. This has to be another year of travel. A greater year w.r.t. travel. I will be travelling mostly by trains and other means of public transport. Very very rarely, I will use flights. Travel = trains. The maximum luxury i will indulge in, is occassionaly booking a 3rd AC train ride back to Hyderabad, in case I have had a rugged weekend and want to be fresh for work on Mondays.

I just saw this ad somewhere on the internetS and find it super hilarious. So you want to compete with Google, but you believe that the only way to get people to notice you is via Ads by Google. Good luck building crediblity with your prospective publishers and advertisers.

Thoughts, ideas and secrets. There is a constant classification happening in my head. The attempt is to make as many things public as I can so that I dont have to worry about the privacy as I have already accepted it to be public. But there is a difference between not-private and public info. What I post here on this blog is public and I dont care if my employers hire psycho-analysts to establish patterns from these posts. There is some info that I dont care if you know about me when you see me but I dont want it on the internet. In other words I dont want it archived online forever and become associated with me. One of the reasons why I was not comfortable reviewing music and movies.
Some facts that are scaring the hell out of people:
It is very easily possible that all of the above could happen to anybody and then freak the hell out of someone. We want to share stuff online but at the same time keep it private. No point assuming that I am a nobody on the internet and even if I post everything online who is going to discover me.

WordPress 2.7 has added some really cool admin UI and sadly broken tons of plugins that I was using to make the same UI possible in the past! So, the best approach is to upgrade to 2.7 and deactivate the Automatic Upgrade plugin. Another plugin that causes issues is the Lighter Menus. So, I have replaced it with the updated version of Ozh Admin Menu. Also, use the obsolete version of OneClick Install to install themes. Let me know if you use anything better to install themes.
I miss the Turbo link on top. Now, I have to hit the Tools link to update files for Google Gears. Turbo somehow gave a feeling that things were really getting faster. The subconscious was buying the power of the word Turbo. The word Tools doesn’t really feel fast. Clicking on the Turbo link at least made me feel I was making things speed up.
